ConnectED AI System Boosts Vietnamese Lesson Planning and Learning

ConnectED is an innovative AI system designed to revolutionize the instructional process within Vietnamese education. This human-centered platform supports the complete teaching and learning cycle, encompassing curriculum-aligned lesson planning, engaging interactive student learning experiences, and continuous refinement based on feedback. The system is powered by VietEduQwen, a specialized Vietnamese educational large language model, fine-tuned to ensure academic accuracy, pedagogical appropriateness, and student safety. The system integrates the ADDIE framework, using structured prompt templates aligned with official educational guidelines, where each phase acts as both a generation step and a teacher validation point. Beyond lesson creation, ConnectED features an interactive student environment that gathers learning signals to inform teacher decisions. Evaluations show VietEduQwen achieving 87.02% accuracy on national exams, outperforming other models. Teachers reported reducing lesson preparation time from 3-4 hours to 30-45 minutes, with high satisfaction regarding curriculum alignment and usability.
